►  Dogs will not be treated without prior Veterinary Referral.

​►  All Dogs receive Hydrotherapy entirely at their owner’s risk.

​►  All treatment courses are to be paid in advance. This includes those to be part of an insurance claim. Individual sessions must be paid for on the day of treatment.

​►  If you are more than 10 mins late for your appointment, dogs will not be able to swim as it will affect the following appointments.

​►  If you cancel within 24 hours of your intended appointment or do not show up, there will be an automatic charge of £5 added to your account. This is treated on an individual basis so it is advised that you call us as soon as possible.

​►  Dogs with Contagious or Infectious conditions such as ear, eye or skin infections will not be treated, owners are advised to cancel their session with 24 hours’ notice or until at least the condition has resolved. A period of 48 hours needs to be completed since last condition occurred. (48 hours are also needed after parasitic treatment has been administered, i.e. Frontline).

​►  Bitches in season are not permitted to swim until the season has finished or will be given the last appointment of the day.

​►  Owners are responsible to inform Village Vets Hydrotherapy during a course of treatment of any change in the animal conditions or if the Veterinary surgeon advises that the treatment is stopped or suspended.

​►  Village Vets Hydrotherapy reserve the right to refuse treatment to any dog.

​►  Owners are requested not to feed their dog for at least 2 hours prior to a session.

​►  Owners are requested to allow their dog to urinate and defecate before attending their session. If the pool should be closed for cleaning due to defecation in the pool, Village Vets Hydrotherapy reserve the right to charge for the remaining cancelled appointments.

​►  Village Vets Hydrotherapy reserve the right to use and videos or photographs taken during a session for advertising of the pool.

​►  Village Vets Hydrotherapy cannot be held responsible for any loss or damage to vehicles or personal property.

​►  It is the owner’s responsibility to clean up after their dogs whilst using the hydrotherapy centre and within the car park and surrounding environment.

​►  When not undergoing treatment, all dogs will be kept under control and on a lead (dogs unable to walk need not to be kept on a lead).

​►  Under no circumstances is an owner to go in the pool with a dog. A qualified hydrotherapist with be in the pool with each session.

​►  Children attending sessions must be kept under control.

​►  Village Vets Hydrotherapy Centre will ensure every safeguard of the water and maintenance of the pool and hydrotherapy equipment at all times.

​►  All owners are to wear non-slip footwear and take extreme caution whilst in the pool room, we are not responsible for any injury incurred whilst in the centre.
